Thanks to funding from some of our sponsors, we can provide about 10 grants of up to £400 pounds each, to support PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and early career researchers (obtaining their PhD within the last 6 years) attending both the summer school (8 August) and the main conference (9-11 August), and who are in need of financial assistance because they have little or no financial support from their home institution for conference and travel expenses.

In order to apply for the support, it is necessary to send an application letter (stating why you need the support as well as the amount that you need, up to £400), your CV, and an up-to-date list of publications (if any) to the conference email address bilevel.conference@southampton.ac.uk by June 11th, 2023. Final decisions on the assignment of the scholarships are expected by June 18th, 2023, and will be communicated via email. 

 

The scholarship will be paid in form of a refund after the conference and will only be disbursed if the respective successful applicant attends both the summer school and the conference.
